Jeffrey Sheedy is the events and communications associate at the Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP). In this role, he oversees the organization’s convenings and coordinates IHEP’s communications efforts, including the organization’s online and social media presence.

Prior to joining IHEP in 2015, Sheedy managed special projects and meetings at United Way Worldwide. He coordinated events for the national leadership body of United Way chief executive officers and numerous groundbreaking projects focused on community impact across the U.S. in education, financial stability and increased fundraising results. Sheedy also previously served as a lead director in a Washington D.C. campaign office working to advance advocacy and fundraising goals for organizations such as the Sierra Club, Environment America, and the Human Rights Campaign.

Sheedy graduated from Bucknell University in 2009 with a bachelor’s of arts in anthropology and religion. He also minored in Spanish.
