Daniella Paradise
Research AnalystDaniella Paradise is a Research Analyst at the Institute for Higher Education Policy. In this role, Daniella performs research analysis and supports the development of publications that explore racial and socioeconomic equity, postsecondary data and transparency, college access, affordability, success, and value. Before joining IHEP, Daniella worked to measure and promote postsecondary educational equity at the U.S. Department of Education, focusing in particular on closing racial gaps in access and outcomes. Daniella has also served in positions at the Georgetown Center on Education and the Workforce, JOIN for Justice, and the U.S. Public Interest Research Group, where she researched higher education attainment gaps, organized educational programs, and led political campaigns. Daniella has a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in history and American studies from Smith College.
Daniella is drawn to higher education because of its immense power to improve lives and communities. She is inspired by the vision of how much better our society can be if we open education’s full potential to everyone. Outside of work, Daniella can be found making music, practicing yoga, reading fiction, and traveling to visit friends and family.
