IHEP Congratulates Dr. Robert E. Anderson on Appointment as New SHEEO President

The State Higher Education Executive Officers Association (SHEEO) recently announced the appointment of Dr. Robert E. Anderson as president beginning on August 1, 2017. Dr. Anderson currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at the Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP).

Dr. Anderson’s decades of experience both as a researcher and institutional leader reflect a longstanding commitment to improving student outcomes and strengthening financial aid policies to better serve the needs of under-resourced students. For the last four years, Dr. Anderson has served on IHEP’s Board of Directors, first as secretary and most recently as chair. His visionary leadership and thoughtful insights have become invaluable and truly strengthened IHEP’s work to expand access and success in higher education for all students.
