Institute for Higher Education Policy Welcomes Five Education Leaders to Board of Directors

To help reinforce its commitment to increasing access and success in postsecondary education, the Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP) recently selected five new members to join the organization's board of directors: Lande Ajose, executive director of California Competes; Daren Briscoe, a senior vice president at GMMB; Stella M. Flores, an associate professor at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development at New York University; Ericka Miller, chief of membership, governance, and higher education at the College Board; and Cheryl A. Oldham, vice president of education policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and vice president of the education and workforce program at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
All five appointees are exceptional higher education leaders who bring a deep understanding of college access and success issues, both of which are core to IHEP's mission and vision. IHEP also is pleased to announce newly elected board officers for 2016. They are Michele Siqueiros, chair; Neil Horikoshi, vice-chair; and Rob Anderson, secretary.
- Siqueiros is president of The Campaign for College Opportunity.
- Horikoshi is president and executive director of the Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund.
- Anderson is vice chancellor for academic affairs and policy for the University System of Georgia.

The IHEP Board of Directors was established to manage fiduciary responsibilities and establish policies that help to further the organization's growing research portfolio and programmatic initiatives.
